Meet Jefrey

Jefrey, otherwise known as Defjef is our longest-running sound engineer at Hazey Studios. First introduced to our studio in October 2022, Jefrey has become a pioneer of the Hazey Studio sound.

From a young age, Jefrey has always known what he wanted to do for a living. Setting up a recording setup in his own bedroom, Jefrey embarked on his journey, mix and mastering tracks for friends and people in his area. He then even ventured into experimenting with his own unique blend of hip-hop-influenced boom-bap music under the alias “Karma”.

Through his vast experience as a sound engineer, Jefrey has the ability to adapt to a wide variety of genres and styles. Jeff has always gone the extra mile to further develop his engineering ability pushing himself through new mixing approaches and vocal chains.

Jefreys outgoing and friendly personality has been a catalyst for getting the most out of his clients music, making every session comfortable as well as productive.
